After a whirlwind June, one of my very best friends came to visit me in July! Brianna Neff stepped of the plane early in July and spent just over two weeks with us. It was such a great visit! We traveled to Munich, Verona, Venice and Florence, drinking wine and laughing the whole way.
Verona, Florence and Venice were fantastic, but our crowning glory was our jaunt up to Germany. Munich was marked by our trip to Dachau, Neuschwanstein castle, dirndl shopping, the BMW museum, beer halls, and Eagle's Nest in Obersalzberg. It was incredible to see so many historical sights, as well as drink some great German beer in traditional garb. We laughed, we cried, it was a great reunion with my wonderful friend!

I remember visiting Dachau like it was last week. It's hard to forget that kind of stuff!
